Foresight Home Planning aims to save you money by helping you minimise post contract variations (PCV).
Knowledge is power, our goal is to save you money by equipping you with as much knowledge as possible prior to commencing construction.
Did you know:
- If you want to make a change to your contract your builder can charge a variation fee.
- Variation fees differ between builders, depending on the changes required variation fees typically range between $250 – $1500.
- Builders can also charge more on the items within your variation as they are no longer incentivised to be competitive on pricing.
- Common recommendations suggest clients should allow 5% of their total budget as a contingency for variations throughout the building of a new house.
- In our experience, people who do not use the HomeVision program average 4 post contract variations throughout the construction of their new home.
